Seaside Costa Brava Home

Today I dream of this charming house designed by Pia Capdevila.

The house is located in Cap Sa Sal on the Costa Brava in Spain and it's filled with light and open spaces with enviable views of the sea.

The lounge, kitchen and dining room all share the same space, so by using white walls and dark floors a feel of spaciousness is created. The large window frames in the seating area create simple, clean lines so as not to overpower the view. To maintain this effect there are no large pieces of furniture.

I can imagine myself lying on that wonderful chaise longue and admiring the beautiful sea view right now! The predominantly white walls, textiles and furnishings contrast with the intensity of the smoked oak used in the kitchen.

To me this house is quite masculine - it's also simple, clean and very harmonic. However, at the same time it is still warm and cozy thanks to all the throws, cushions and soft carpets. Blissful!
