Laurence Dolige Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the wonderful S/S 2012 collection by Laurence Dolige.

Just like Sandro from the last post, Laurence Dolige is a French label but the style is totally different! As Laurence herself says, she proposes collections where she mixes menswear, glamour and Parisian femininity. Her collections offer a complete look from head to toe, it's not just a clothing line but a complete style!

This is exactly how I would like to look during my summer holidays. A laid-back, relaxed style with lightweight and airy fabrics equals comfort and great style! I don't know where my fear of linen and wearing denim apart from jeans came from as they are the perfect fabrics for summer!

I certainly have a problem with what to wear in the summer (I tend to avoid mini-skirts, shorts and  heels) so I end up cooking myself in my jeans and an oversize t-shirt!

This is a perfect alternative and a great way to survive the hot summer without showing to much and still being stylish in that mysterious and effortless French way :)

Ellery Spring 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the new Spring 2012 collection by Ellery.

Kym Ellery never fails to amaze me, after the spectacular fall 2011 collection and then the wonderful resort 2011 campaign this collection is a perfect continuation of Kym's success!

The collection titled ‘The Silent Years’ for Spring 2012 is inspired by 1970s cults, sects and secret societies.

The colour palette involves beautiful naturals, earthy tones and classic navy and black. I love the taupe shades, it's the perfect colour for spring and looks amazing combined with white.

My favourite part of the collection is definitely the coats. I love the slightly oversized A-line shapes, big and cosy collars and the combination of wool and leather. How beautiful is that ombre coat featured in the last look?! Also, I'm in love with the first white dress, white is THE colour of this summer and if I wasn't so messy I would wear all white looks every day :)

How do you like Kym's new collection? I can't wait to see the new campaign!

Antipodium Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the new S/S 2012 collection by Antipodium.

Antipodium is a London-based brand founded by Geoffrey J. Finch in 2006. Geoffrey describes his label's style as ‘tongue-in-chic’, creating fashion that is witty and unapologetically seductive, much like the label’s wearers who include Alexa Chung, Beth Ditto and La Roux.

I really couldn't stop myself from showing you more than one collection so here's a little insight of what Geoffrey's been up to this year :)

The S/S 2012 collection is simple, sharp and modern. It's also full of unexpected combinations like delicate lace with leather and botanical prints with glossy leather. The collection was inspired by the late 70's Woody Allen movie - 'Interiors" and that's how it's titled. What I like most about it is how wearable and versatile it is.

The Resort 2012 collection is much different - more classic and sophisticated. It's a very feminine version of the smart-casual dress code, simple and elegant.

The last collection I want to show you is Pre-Fall 2012 - it's more sporty in shape and silhouette, quirky and fun.

What's also great about Antipodium is the prices, all the pieces are really affordable, prices for tops start around £50 and jackets start at £100. Now, which collection do you like the most?

Toast Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the lovely Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Toast.

The collection is divided into four separate catalogues - early spring, spring, summer and high summer. I chose my favourite looks from each one of them hence the huge amount of pictures in this post :)

I remember seeing Toast stores when I used to live in London and now I deeply regret never going in. All their stores are in really lovely buildings and the interiors are always eye-catching. I love Toast for being able to shop for both clothes and homeware at the same time. The homeware is in the same spirit as the clothing, embodying simplicity and good design!

Another reason for being a fan of Toast is their ethical policy - they really do everything possible to impact the environment in the least negative way which means good quality organic materials, recycling, not testing on animals and supporting charities.

Apart from all this, they really make great clothes :) I really like the simple but sophisticated and effortless looking style - it always brings summer holidays to my mind!

Sass & Bide New Lookbook - 'Sing, Brother!'

Today I dream about the new loobook called 'Sing, Brother' by Sass & Bide.

I previously wrote about Sass & Bide regarding their pre-fall 2011 collection (check it out here) which charmed me with its ethnic, tribal vibe.

This time Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton - the founders of Sass & Bide - have prepared something very different. The collection is sleek and elegant, rich in embellishments and eye-catching details. The colour palette as pretty basic - from white and cream to black - which is good when combined with rich embellishment.

As the pre-fall collection which I wrote about was all about the prints, this time is rather the opposite. There's not many prints in this collection and they're quite simple. This collection is more about clean and sharp lines combined with romantic embellishments and feminine silhouettes! A perfect combination, don't you think?

The collection will be available in stores from July!

The Kooples S/S 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the amazing new Spring/Summer 2012 collection by The Kooples.

I don't have to introduce you to this fantastic french brand as I've already showed you their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection here.

Last time Alexander, Laurent and Raphael Elicha - the founders of the brand - charmed me with their dandy and rebellious but always perfectly tailored pieces and this time I'm even more impressed! The collection is full of delicate and feminine pastel and nude shades with added pops of rich colour. It's very sophisticated and elegant but in a slouchy and effortless kind of way.

What I like the most about The Kooples are their campaigns featuring real life couples wearing the label - I wish I could see such stylish couples on the streets more!

Here's some of my favourite looks from the lookbook but make sure to check out the whole collection here!

Deco Spring/Summer 2012 Campaign

Today I dream about the amazing Spring/Summer 2012 campaign from Deco featuring the beautiful Constance Jablonski.

Despite the presence of the most popular trends shown here - sporty silhouettes with the jumpsuit and a sleeveless jacket, peplum top and dress and pastel or sorbet colours which remind me of Philip Lim's Spring 2012 collection; the collection is not overpowered by them.

It's very feminine and perfect for someone my age (much closer to 30s than 20s). All the looks are elegant, simple and sophisticated - I love it!

Also check out the gorgeous video for the collection here!

Today I dream about the super cool S/S 2012 Stefanel catalogue.

I already wrote about the collection, which is definitely one of my favourites for the coming spring, check out my post here!

Now we can see the collection in everyday wear. It's very chic, relaxed and effortless - the perfect combination for Spring!
