Brook&Lyn Jewellery

Today I dream about this beautiful minimalist jewellery by Brook&Lyn.

Brook&Lyn is a brand founded by Mimi Jung who is another great example of how to turn a creative blog into a business.

Brook&Lyn started in 2008 and after a few years it was named one of New York's top ten fashion blogs by the The Huffington Post. After a great response from Mimi's readers to one of her DIY jewellery project posts she decided to launch her own label with her first collection entitled 'Surrounded'.

The primary shape of Mimi's designs is a circle thanks to it protective abilities. As for the materials, she uses handmade patina glass mirrors, saddle leather and hand-dyed cotton. Her designs are really simple and would perfectly complement any minimalist look.

Have a look at the new collection called 'Medaled' and check out my favourite pieces from it below. The lookbook for the collection was styled by the creator of the Stop It Right Now blog - Jayne Min. If you don't know her blog yet make sure to check it out here! You might also remember Jayne from her awesome tweed jumpsuit that she wore during the New York Fashion Week, I was shocked when I found out it was from ASOS!

Anyway, have a look at the beautiful lookbook styled by Jayne, photographed by Mimi and modelled by the lovely Leah.

Spell & the Gypsy Collective Winter 2012 Sneak Peek

Today I dream about these mesmerising pictures which are a little sneak peek to the Winter 2012 collection by Spell & the Gypsy Collective.

I introduced you to the brand in one of my first ever posts (check it out here). Although the new boho/hippie and Native American inspired theme is not my style at all it always brings summer to my mind with all the festivals, beaches and crazy parties :)

If it's your style though, you have to check out brand creators Elisabeth and Isabella Briedis' blog called Spell & the Gypsy Collective which is an amazing source of inspiration.

The new lookbook "Storm Chaser" is actually just a sneak peek - I can't wait to see the whole Winter 2012 range. It features the beautiful model Jara and was photographed by Johnny Abegg and styled by the creative sisters.

I also added a few pictures from the Night of Hunters shoot which were taken on the way to the beach where the lookbook photoshoot took place. I'm in love with those amazing studded ombre boots!

Spike and Cone Bracelets & Rings

Today I dream about these super cool spike bracelets.

I noticed them first on Aimee's amazing blog, Song of Style and then I spent ages trying to find out where it was from.

Aimee's bracelet comes from CC Skye's collection but there are a few other places where you can get a similar one. Eddie Borgo makes them too but they are much more expensive. As a cheap alternative I found a very similar style at ASOS and I'm already waiting for the delivery :)

It's hard to tell if they are all copied from each other or just 'inspired'. I chose the cheap version as the state of my finances is quite depressing, but when I do have a spare $1000 I promise you Eddie, I'll get one of yours too! :)

I'm still looking for the pave cone bracelet so if you see it anywhere at a reasonable price please let me know!

Bjørg Jewellery 2012 Lookbook

Today I dream about the latest lookbook from Norway based jewellery brand - Bjørg.

The label was founded by Bjørg Nordli-Mathisen who started designing jewellery while living in India in 2004.

She releases two collections per year: the Classic collection is made with silver, precious stones and diamonds while the Odyssey collection is made with bronze. Bjørg's amazing jewellery was featured in the world's greatest fashion magazines like Vogue and Elle.

The new 2012 collection was inspired by mythology and ancient tales and the lookbook for it is titled 'Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost'.

The lookbook is so dreamy, mysterious and romantic, see for yourself!

Repossi Jewellery 2011 Campaign

Today I dream about Repossi's beautiful jewellery.

Repossi is a jewellery company owned by Italian Alberto Repossi. The brand was founded in 1920 by Alberto's grandfather - G. Pietro Repossi. Alberto's daughter, Gaia has been Maison Repossi's artistic director since the age of twenty. This family business with long traditions creates amazing and really special jewellery, so special that Repossi is the official jeweler to the Sovereign Prince of Monaco.

Today I would like to show you the 2011 campaign featuring two fantastic models: Malgosia Bela and Dree Hemingway. The piece I fell in love with is the diamond encrusted ear cuff with lattice made of rose gold - it is perfect! It's also on the list of the 10 most wanted jewellery pieces on Style.com, so it is not only me who loves it.

Lately Gaia collaborated with Alexander Wang to create a line of really fantastic pieces - make sure to check them out on Repossi's website.

Anyway, have a look at the campaign and two of my favourite pieces :)

Amerrymishap Jewellery

Today I dream about this unique jewellery created by Jennifer Hagler, a blogger and jewellery designer.

Her designs are simple, creative and very charming. She makes the beads herself from polymer clay, then she adds spikes, discs and a gold chain and it's ready!

The prices are really tempting me to get a few necklaces instead of just only one plus the choice is really big :)

You can get Jennifer's jewellery from her Etsy store but also make sure to check out her blog which is full of great inspirations. Here's some of my favourite pieces!

Assad Mounser Jewellery

Today I dream  about this amazing jewellery from Assad Mounser.

Amanda Assad Mounser is a New York based designer who launched her label in 2009. Her glam-rock style jewellery quickly became the brand's signature.

The new Autumn/Winter 2011 collection features a striking line of heavy chains, spiked pendants and layered necklaces. It's full of unexpected combinations like pearls put together with spikes or minerals. The lookbook named "Neo Conquistator" which was photographed by Henry Mounser and modelled by Flynn Kelly is a bit of Balmain-style grunge mixed with retro glamour. What do you think?
