Dion Lee Sping/Summer 2011 Collection

Today I dream of Dion Lee's amazing new collection.

Dion is a very talented Australian designer, best known for his architectural approach to tailoring and luxurious choice of fabrics.

To me this collection is very unpredictable - especially the colour palette. First he used Rorschach blots as a print and made them almost look like beautiful flowers. Then he has also combined pleating and knotting to create truly mesmerizing dresses.

All of his designs are constructed in a very artful way and because of that I think he's a designer we should all watch.

Have a look at these photos and a video from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

The wonderful Line II lookbook is designed to accompany Dion Lee's mainline collection and also to stand alone as its own entity.

(In)Decorous Taste Harnesses

Today I dream of these shoe harnesses from (In)Decorous Taste.

They are the creation of Lauren Tennenbaum, a young but very talented interior and shoe designer. Her harnesses are featured in the 'Wasted Luxury' shoot in the March 2011 edition of Vogue Italia on the heads of all of the models and also on the cover - check it out here!

Yesterday I wrote about spiky statement jewellery but this is the next level - pure drama! All the harnesses are handmade with brass hardware, buttery bridle leather and plexi crystals and are available in colours like nude, black, pink or purple.

You can use them on stilettos, wedges, flats, boots, mules, pumps and platforms. Lauren also designs body harnesses and clutches! Although these are completely not my style,  if one day I want to feel like a crazy, futuristic superstar I know where to go :)

Have a look!

Luv Aj Jewellery

Today I dream of Luv Aj's fantastic jewellery.

Luv Aj is a brand created by designer Amanda Thomas. The 23-year-old designer combines edginess with a hint of femininity in her jewellery.

Her designs gained popularity after celebrities like Chloe Sevigny, Ashlee Simpson and Rachel Bilson were spotted wearing her striking jewellery. Have a look at the Spring 2011 lookbook and the beautiful video!

Sass & Bide Pre-Fall 2011 Collection

Today I dream of Sass & Bide's pre-fall collection.

Sass & Bide was founded by Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton and at it started out as a stall on London's Portobello Market in 1999 where the two designers were selling jeans.

The pre-Fall designs were inspired by a collection of ideas, places and feelings - say the designers. I really like the tribal feel of this collection, you can see the influences from Africa, South America and an Aztec style in the prints. The draping and layering used in these designs creates a relaxed and simplified look.

Sassy! :)

Setareh Mohtarez's Collection

Today I dream of Setareh Mohtarez's amazing Brightness Dawn collection.

Setareh is a New York based designer who combines shape, movement, texture, and colour in her designs. Her star-struck collection was awarded with the A Shaded View on Fashion award and it contains the galaxy and supernovas prints which are so popular now.

I like the beautiful multi-layered shapes and bright colours in this collection. You would certainly be noticed wearing one of her dresses!

Annelie Carlström Illustations

Today I dream of Annelie Carlström's fantastic pencil illustrations.

Annelie is a Swedish graduate from Beckman's College of Design in 2007 and she has worked for clients such as HSBC, H&M and Fashion Tale.

I really enjoyed her beautiful portfolio which I found on her website. It's full of detailed pencil illustrations which are a mix of naturalism and naivism.

These are from Annelie's fashion portfolio but make sure to check out the rest!
