Amazing garden in Los Angeles

Today I dream about this enchanting place located in Los Angeles.

This amazing 1920s villa belongs to Richard Shapiro, an antiques dealer and designer of a home-furnishings line.

But this post is not about the house, this time it's all about the garden! Richard didn't want a typical LA style villa so he created something far more interesting - this fantastical garden surrounding the house! I think it's the most beautiful garden I've seen in a long time with the Roman columns, marble lions and tall ficus hedges. It has that mystery feel of a secret garden with all the labyrinths and ivy.

At the far end of the pool there's a full-scale replica of the portico of Andrea Palladio's Villa Chiericati. Palladio was an architect born in 1508 in the Republic of Venice, who is widely considered to be the most influential individual in the history of Western architecture. Truly magical!

Stefanel Spring/Summer 2012 Catalogue

Today I dream about the super cool S/S 2012 Stefanel catalogue.

I already wrote about the collection, which is definitely one of my favourites for the coming spring, check out my post here!

Now we can see the collection in everyday wear. It's very chic, relaxed and effortless - the perfect combination for Spring!

Personal Style - Ezgi Kiramer

Today I dream about Ezgi Kiramer's amazing style!

Ezgi is a blogger, a personal shopper and a freelance stylist. She has been working with Lian Kebudi (who's also very chic, see her in the fourth picture) as personal shoppers for four years now - check out their website here!

They also work as freelance stylists and give seminars about image and styling. I love Ezgi's style because every time I see her she looks totally different. One day is classic Parisian chic, the other minimalism and the next it's prints and neon colours.

She plays with fashion in a very cool way, do you like her style?

Zara Woman April 2012 Lookbook

Today I dream about the new April lookbook by Zara.

Although I tell myself all the time not to shop at Zara because of the high prices and low quality fabrics, when I look at this lookbook I feel like I want to run to Zara right now and get everything featured here! :)

I can't find even one piece that I wouldn't like to welcome into my closet. All the pieces are simple, fresh, effortless and feminine - the perfect combination! I think that all the shades of white are the perfect colours for spring and summer, they look best with tanned skin though, which would be more difficult to achieve with my fair complexion...

This is definitely my favourite lookbook by Zara this year!

Elegant House in Madrid

Today I dream about this stunning house located in Madrid, Spain.

For me, the perfect house is 70% about location and the location of this house is just divine! Combined with the serene and super elegant interior the house goes on the top of the list of my dreams :)

When it comes to interiors white is definitely my favourite colour, it creates a perfect canvas to highlight your treasures and also makes the room look more spacious. Every room is so subtle, simple but sophisticated and filled with natural light thanks to the big amount of windows - light and airy, just perfect!

My Fashion Week Favourites

Today I dream about my five favourite collections for next winter.

It was a hard choice. As much as I loved the futuristic and geometric shapes at Balenciaga, Acne or Topshop Unique as well as Louis Vuitton's fantasy world, Miu Miu's printed suits and Wang's glossy leathers I chose the collections that I would love to wear myself.

As usual with me, femininity and muted, soft colours have won again! Here are my choices:

1. Burberry Prorsum

I love the truly British vintage feel of the collection. Cosy tweeds, peplums and nipped waists create beautiful, feminine silhouettes. There is not one thing in this collection that I wouldn't want to welcome into my closet.

Definitely my number one for the next fall!

2. Chloé

It's Clare Waight Keller's second season at Chloe and I think she's proved that the brand is going in the right direction with herself in charge.

I love the soft palette of shades and slightly sporty silhouettes but my favourite part of the collection is definitely the outerwear. The only thing I don't like here are the shoes but I love the bags so I guess that balances it out :)

3. Isabel Marant

Parisian chic meets wild wild West?! Only Isabel Marant could pull this one off! And she did!

The collection is very feminine, playful and sexy. I love all the embroidery, frilly skirts and lace blouses and of course, the cowboy boots!

4. Valentino

Valentino is my most beloved old-style fashion house.

His women are always elegant, classy and sexy but never in a vulgar way. Although the colour palette in this collection is very basic when you look at the details you see the huge amount of hard work that went into this collection.

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli did an amazing job again in delivering this beautiful folk inspired collection in a modern way.

5. Jill Sander

Was there any better way Raf Simons could say goodbye to Jill Sander? I really don't think so - his last collection is truly breathtaking!

The soft shades of pink and gray combined with melancholic music and ultra feminine silhouettes - it was the sweetest goodbye!

Fabulous five! :)
