I have to say this collection is a masterclass - it's so different to what I've seen so far during NFW or LFW.
The silhouettes are very feminine and flirty - I love the knee length skirts, cutout shoulders and cap sleeves. The colours are quite basic - black, white, navy and camel. Let's not forget the gorgeous stripes - the combination of horizontal and vertical stripes against the stripes on the catwalk was really captivating but not overpowering. I love the perforated laser cuts on the suede trench, skirts and bags as well as the evening wear sheer black dresses with the beautiful stitching and embellishments.
Oh, and those sunglasses - they go straight to the top of my 'must have' list for next season! The models looked amazing wearing them paired with large, teased bouffants and metallic make up. The collection is chic and ladylike but in slightly casual and futuristic way.
So, it looks like Karl did it again - he charmed me with these voluminous shapes, pattern play, folded pleats and crystal embellishments!

The Right Stripes :)
Amazing job Fendi!!! So beautiful, so bold.
ReplyDeleteBardzo dobra kolekcja. Już nie taka barokowa, ciężka, ale te włosy, ten makijaż - niesamowity.
