Juicy Couture Fall 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the fun Fall 2012 collection by Juicy Couture.

I'm really surprised with my sudden affection for a brand that I used to associate only with pink velour tracksuits and charm bracelets worn by glamour models and such!

This collection is totally different and really refreshing, maybe because the lookbook features one of my favourite models - Magdalena Frackowiak paired with the beautiful Toni Garn or maybe it's because I don't see an overload of pink here. Instead, there's some really eye-catching and stylish pieces here :)

Still, some of the looks are too much for me with overbearing prints (paisley, stripes, plaid and animal patterns) and colours but I can see some pieces that I would gladly welcome into my closet. I like the preppy vibe about the collection, as LeAnn Nealz (the chief creative officer of the brand) says it's "Sunset Strip in the seventies meets London mod squad".

I think that the strongest point of this collection is definitely the coats and jackets - I love that biker jacket, red swing coat and of the course the leopard print cape!

This really cool collection is accompanied by a really horrible (in my opinion of course) campaign featuring the amazing Karlie Kloss. I don't like the setting, the styling or the posing, it just doesn't match the campaign at all, if you would like to see it, click here and let me know what you think!

Loft in Copenhagen

Today I dream about this charming loft apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The house is owned by Tina Seidenfaden Busck and Pernille Hornhaver, founders of Theapartment.dk offering interior design and art consulting.

They use the house to exhibit their pieces. As Tina and Pernille say - "The Apartment is a new universe of design objects, furniture, antiques and art. Innovative modern design meets the unparallelled craft of traditional furniture making, showcased in the elegant setting of an apartment in Christianshavn, in the heart of Copenhagen, handsomely restored by the founders."

I am a big fan of lofts and this one is just perfect! White walls and a black floor make a great background to exhibit all those colourful pieces like that beautiful blush pink chaise longue and the printed rugs. The thing I like the most here though is the faux 'wall' suspended in mid-air from the ceiling beams. It's a great idea for all small places as it creates a lot more hanging space which would make a great focal point to exhibit all of your favourite prints.

I wish we could have a better glimpse of the bedroom but I'm sure from looking at the rest of the space and considering the talented owners that it's equally beautiful!

Toast Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the lovely Autumn/Winter 2012 collection by Toast.

Last time I wrote about Toast it was regarding the Spring/Summer 2012 collection which really charmed me with its beautiful pictures and amazing summery vibe. This time it's no different; the lookbook features wonderful pictures set in a charming little mountain town.

Beautiful earthy tones combined with eye popping orange and teal, with statement jewellery and classic prints of dots and stripes make this collection really wearable and versatile - perfect for autumn!

In Toast's collections you won't find the latest trends, it's not a fashionista brand. No pastels, no neons, no peplums and stilettos but instead you will find classic, timeless pieces that will never go out of fashion thanks to great design and high quality fabrics.

Another delicious slice of Toast! :)

The Kooples Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the new A/W 2012 collection by The Kooples.

After the beautiful Spring/Summer 2012 collection filled with feminine soft shades, this time it's all about typical autumn colours. Earthy tones mixed with grey, navy and burgundy make a perfect colour palette for every fall and winter.

To me, The Kooples is a perfect combination of classic British tailoring combined with French chic and nonchalance.

Looks like The Kooples have proven once again that the French are just cooler and better looking than the rest of the world ;)

We start with my favourite part - the real life couples wearing The Kooples! This season we see André Saraiva and Annabelle Dexter Jones, Devendra Banhart and Ana Kras, DJs Leigh Lezark, Randy D’Amico and Jamie Burke together with Mila de Wit. Enjoy!

Laurence Dolige Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the wonderful S/S 2012 collection by Laurence Dolige.

Just like Sandro from the last post, Laurence Dolige is a French label but the style is totally different! As Laurence herself says, she proposes collections where she mixes menswear, glamour and Parisian femininity. Her collections offer a complete look from head to toe, it's not just a clothing line but a complete style!

This is exactly how I would like to look during my summer holidays. A laid-back, relaxed style with lightweight and airy fabrics equals comfort and great style! I don't know where my fear of linen and wearing denim apart from jeans came from as they are the perfect fabrics for summer!

I certainly have a problem with what to wear in the summer (I tend to avoid mini-skirts, shorts and  heels) so I end up cooking myself in my jeans and an oversize t-shirt!

This is a perfect alternative and a great way to survive the hot summer without showing to much and still being stylish in that mysterious and effortless French way :)

Stay cool! :)
