Lovisa Burfitt Illustrations

Today I dream about these fantastic fashion illustrations by Lovisa Burfitt.

Lovisa is a Sweden-based fashion designer and illustrator who lives and works in Provence, southern France. She graduated from the Beckmans School of Fashion Stockholm in 1997 and in 2001 she was invited as a guest student at the Royal College of Art in Stockholm.

Lovisa previously worked for clients such as: Sephora, Guerlain, Selfridges, H&M and Harrods. She has also illustrated many issues of Vogue, ELLE, Grazia and The Sunday Times. She mainly draws fashion as well as accessories, food, make-up, flowers, interiors and more.

The pictures were taken by Kristofer Johnsson for RUM21. They perfectly illustrate how much personality a great print can add to the whole interior. How do you like them?

Lux Singer's Fashion Illustration

Today I dream about the beautiful fashion illustrations by Lux Singer.

Behind that mysterious pseudonym lies a very talented designer and illustrator, Zuza. If you've ever wondered about my adorable portrait which you can see on your left, Zuza made that too!

Based in Warsaw, Zuza worked for one of the major and most renowned designers in the polish fashion industry and now she's decided to focus more on her own work as a freelancer.

I had the pleasure of meeting her many, many years ago as we come from the same town and she was always very interested in fashion, hence her choice of career. Just like me, Zuza is more of an observer than a participant, but unlike me, she can express herself through drawing as a form of communication.

Since a love for fashion and design has always accompanied her, it seems like moving into fashion illustration was a natural progression. Zuza only started her adventure with fashion illustration recently and her style is still developing. She chooses her subjects based on what makes her happy or inspired, like editorials, fashion shows, certain models or favoured garments.

As you see below, she loves to work with pencil in monochrome and then add a rich pop of colour which has become a defining characteristic of her art. What I love about her work the most is her amazing attention to detail, her vivid imagination and how she always adds something personal to the illustration - such as the cats on my portrait :)

Katie Rogers' Fashion Illustrations

Today I dream about Katie Rogers' magical fashion illustrations.

Katie is the girl behind the beautiful blog PaperFashion which she started in 2009. Katie turned her hobby into a very successful business and it has really paid off. The list of her clients include Coach, Kate Spade, Shiseido and many, many more.

When I first saw her glittering fashion watercolours I instantly fell in love. She carefully choses a fashion illustration and then transforms it into watercolours, adds sequins, glitter, beads and Swarovski crystals which makes the paintings really come alive.

The thing I love the most about Katie's art is how she shows femininity and old style glamorous beauty which is a rare find nowadays.

Caroline Andrieu's Illustrations

Today I dream about Caroline Andrieu's beautiful illustrations.

Caroline graduated from the French school of the Atelier de Sèvres and EPSAA and currently works as the art director of Condé Nast digital (France) for its Vogue & GQ websites.

Caroline's works were features in magazines such as: Vanidad, SoChic, Vogue and Glamour and she has worked for Chanel, Clarins and Sephora as well as regularly contributing to Diesel Fragrance Factory.

Hanna Müller's Fashion Illustrations

Today I dream about Hanna Müller's amazing fashion illustrations.

Recently, I showed you Sabine Pieper's work and today it's time for another talented lady - Swedish illustrator, Hanna.

I'm completely in love with her drawings and watercolour paintings! Hanna's works are mostly inspired by models and fashion editorials - she's not only able to transform a picture into a drawing or a painting but also she perfectly captures special moments and especially facial expressions. She gives the models a look of vitality behind their eyes and captures their personalities which is a pretty rare talent.

Sabine Pieper Fashion Illustrations

Today I dream about these beautiful fashion illustrations by Sabine Pieper.

Sabine lives in Berlin and works as a freelance illustrator and photographer. I fell in love with her illustrations thanks to the soft and sultry colours and her amazing eye for the details. Currently Sabine is illustrating the column 'Mademoiselle - Confessions of an Elle Girl' in Elle UK.
