COS Autumn/Winter 2011

Today I dream about the new Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign from COS.

COS is well known for its simplicity and classic cuts. This campaign represents it all! I'm so in love with this cropped pink jacket, if you feel like you want to do something nice and make someone happy please send me £115 :)

I've loved COS since it came out, all their clothes fit perfectly, the fabrics are great and the best thing about them is that they will never go out of fashion. Clothes in a classic style are always the best investment and it will save you a lot of money when all the clothes you own look good with anything.

The new collection is very modern and classic at the same time, the shapes of some pieces remind me of Balenciaga while some of the others look very retro. I'm starting to fall in love with this burgundy or beetroot colour since I first saw it in the new H&M collection and now I like it even more.

Check out the new campaign and some of my favourite looks from the Autumn/Winter 2011 lookbook!

Rag and Bone Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

Today I dream about the new Fall/Winter 2011 collection from Rag and Bone.

It's good to be back to blogging after a week away, I really missed it!

I don't think I have to introduce you to Rag and Bone, all I will say is that this fantastic brand, founded in 2002 in Kentucky by Marcus Wainwright & David Neville keeps surprising me each season with their innovative fabrics and fresh ideas.

The Fall/Winter 2011 collection is inspired by the North Pole and arctic tribes like the Inuits, Siberians and Native Americans. When I first saw this collection my jaw dropped - I was quite shocked with all the colours and patterns. The more I look at it though, the more I like it and I see many pieces I could use in my boring and plain wardrobe to give it some life :)

The colours as well as the whole collection are so varied - from earthy tones of cream, ivory and gray to sky blue, wild red and black. The fabrics are perfect for winter too: wool, tweed, leather and fur.

Here's some of my favourite looks - this part of the collection is more calm and I love the colours. There's also a glimpse at the crazier part of this amazing collection which you can see in its entirety here!

Laura Lombardi Jewellery

Today I dream about Laura Lombardi's new jewellery collection.

Sorry there hasn't been many posts this week - I am on holiday in Poland! While I was adventuring at the seaside in Gdansk I didn't have access to a PC, but today I do :)

Laura Lombardi's is a small collection of jewellery made of vintage materials and it's all hand crafted and one of a kind. I love the Fall/Winter 2011 lookbook, not only because the jewellery is great but I also love the styling - I wish I could have all the clothes used in the shoots!

Check out the lookbook and some of my favourite pieces!

Saturday Recipes - Cookie Sandwich!

Today I dream about trying all those cookie recipes!

It's time for part two of my giant cookie post :) This time it's cookie sandwiches, whoopie pies, alfajores - in general any cookies with filling in the middle.  The summer is almost over and what can be better on a windy and rainy autumn day than a cup of tea with some cookies?!

Have a look at the recipes and tell me which ones are your favourites!

Dulce La Leche Alfajores

I think I mentioned that dulche la leche is one of the best things in life :) A crumbly cookie with a sweet and sticky dulche la leche sounds like a dream for me! I have found two ways of making them. In the first one the cookies are rather flat and crunchy and in the second version they are softer and bigger. Click for the first recipe! Here's the second version!

These look just divine! They must be like 1000kcal in just one, but if they taste like they look then it's worth it :) Get the recipe here!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies

Another combination that everybody knows and loves. Peanut butter and jelly is delicious in a sandwich so in a cookie it must be even better! Find the recipe here!

I did it all for the cookie! :)

Carven Resort 2012 Collection

Today I dream about the new Resort 2012 collection from Carven.

Carven is a fast growing brand and its designer, Guillaume Henry, has managed to create another great collection, this time inspired by the Alpine landscapes of Bavaria and Switzerland. The first thing you notice about this collection are the cute bows on the back of the shoes - that would make a great DIY project!

All the looks are really cute, girly and playful. The shapes are quite simple but thanks to little details and prints they are far from boring. The colours are very varied: from smart black and white to coral and vibrant canary yellow.

I would happily dress like this next summer, how about you?

Joeri Bosma's Flickr Photostream

Today I dream about these amazing photographs taken by Joeri Bosma.

You know I love to spend time browsing Flickr and sometimes you can find something truly captivating. That's how I felt when I came across Joeris's pictures. Joeri is only seventeen and so talented - I love his self portraits.

The young photographer, based in the Netherlands takes a photo every day and every day they are getting better and better! Check out some of my favourite pictures from Joeri's Flickr. Also, check out Joeri's Tumblr to see many outtakes.

Here I wrote about another amazing and talented young photographer I have found through Flickr - Molly Strohl.
